Sunday thoughts

So, it's Sunday and today we talked about keeping the Sabbath Day holy at church. It was interesting what JJ and I gathered from two different lessons. JJ didn't know that the Sabbath was originally on the 7th day before Christ's Resurrection and that it changed to the first day after (from Saturday to Sunday). What I got from my Relief Society lesson is that the Sabbath is not a day of rest in worldly standards. For example, sleeping in and being idle is breaking the Sabbath but working towards the Lord is not. Members are to observe the Sabbath by taking a rest day from their worldly labors and engaging in work, meditation and service towards the Lord. Therefore, I am blogging (which is electronic journal taking) to avoid breaking the Sabbath Day. What are your thoughts on the Sabbath?
